Service scope

Tutor Break provides tutor-information organisation, matching and introductory contact support. It is not a school, employer, payment processor or guarantor of teaching quality.

Matching and availability

A public profile does not mean a tutor is immediately available or guaranteed to be suitable. Students, parents and tutors must confirm schedule, location, format, rate, teaching content and cancellation arrangements before starting.

Fees

Students and parents submit matching needs for free. Once arranged, the first lesson fee is the Tutor Break administration fee. From lesson two, students or parents pay the tutor directly with no ongoing commission.

Information and conduct

Submitters must provide truthful information they are entitled to make public. Both sides should verify important qualifications and arrangements and respect privacy, safety and applicable Hong Kong law.

Changes and ending arrangements

Rescheduling, cancellation, refunds or ending lessons should be clearly agreed between the student or parent and tutor. Tutor Break may be contacted where the matching administration is involved.
