FAQ

What you may want to know before registering.

Is matching free for students?

Students and parents can submit their needs for free. Once a match is arranged, the first lesson fee becomes the platform administration fee.

How long does registration take?

The student/parent Google Form usually takes around 3–5 minutes. Matching time depends on the subject, district, schedule and tutor requirements.

Are online lessons available?

Yes. You can request home tutoring, a nearby public place or online lessons. Both sides confirm the final arrangement.

Do tutors pay ongoing commission?

No. The first lesson is the administration fee. From lesson two, students or parents pay the tutor directly.

Are contact details shown publicly?

No. Public profiles exclude names, phone numbers, email addresses, social handles and documents.

Is every listed tutor currently available?

Not necessarily. Profiles are for initial browsing; Tutor Break confirms availability, format and schedule during matching.
